Welcome to Whale of a Time Dayhome! I run a day home in the Harvest Hills area committed to providing quality and reliable childcare. I provide a safe and fun environment with a strong emphasis on learning through play promoting social, emotional and physical development.
I currently have two spots available beginning September 1, please contact me at 403.719.7833 for more information. I provide transportation to Ascension of Our Lord Elementary as well as the NW buses for Collingwood Elementary and King George Elementary.
We have a great playroom with an arts and crafts area, reading nook, pretend play area, train table, kitchen, ball pit, tunnels and plenty of toys and games to play with. In the back we have a fully fenced yard with plenty of toys for summer and winter. I believe in spending lots of time outdoors and when the weather permits our days frequently involve trips to local parks and games in nearby green spaces.
I provide healthy snacks, drinks and meals as well as a fun structured but flexible day. Visit the meals and activities sections of this website to learn more about the type of food that will be served and an idea of how a typical day will be structured.

Reading these posts makes me want to be a child again and to spend my days in the Tiny Explorers Day Home. The children certainly are given many opportunities to explore and understand their world.
